10/27/2005: "moving blues"

mood: um...blue

I DO NOT WANT TO MOVE ON SATURDAY. I just started packing the rest of my stuff tonight. One of my boxes fell apart and all the stuff fell out so I had to repack it. Aside from repacking it, fitting more stuff in it and getting all my pictures/posters off the wall I've done nothing. I did get my life-sized James Marsters off the wall in one piece though (yay me!).

And I have to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As in: the day before the move, the day of the move and the day after the move. I am beyond pissed. I want to be there when the guys are moving my stuff and I want to put it all away the next day. God I'm so mad. And my mom's all like "It's no big deal." Uh huh, whatever.

We're getting DSL in the new house but it might be a few days so I won't be able to update for a little while. I'll blog at school during my Web Publishing class (so boring/unchallenging) but I won't be able to do meat & potatoes, site updating. Hope you all don't mind. Eeeeh! I don't know what I'll do. I'll die!

i hate moving too. weve moved alot, not from house to house, but from country to country. lol. but its fun.

Andie im so soorry that you couldn't see your stuff move but think possitivly you know have the "intercome system" anyway i hope you can find something that you like about the little house and love it like you did the old house. have fun and try to like it... im still sorry that you werent able top see the stuff moving, i9 know you would've been waving to it as it drove down the road. ok crazy byby

That sucks you have to work while you're moving. Maybe you could have someone like your mom move your stuff or at least help move it and then just leave it there until you can put stuff away. I'm sure you'll survive hehe At least you'll be getting DSL..that's a pretty nice prize to have after all that frustration =)

I'm sorry about all the moving difficulties, but with the DSL it will be totally worth it. At my grandparents we have DSL and I love it, but at my house we had dial up...and it's so slow!!

I hate moving sad I had to move twice! And I understand that you want to see your stuff handled properly and not misplaced anywhere. I'd be worrying myself senseless too! Haha good for you for getting your poster off the wall! I used to put up posters, but I used blue-tack so when I took it off, there were blue spots everywhere in my room! So I'm never putting up posters again sad
