06/27/2005: "The Graduation Business"

I could make a business out of graduating. If I graduated once every week I could honestly live off the money but I think people would eventually get suspicious.
The cake was good but the weather was sooo hot. I did get to go swimming later in the evening but the daytime was unbearable. My mom says when my brother graduates she's renting an air conditioned building but sadly, I do not benefit from it.
The graduation grand total is: [drumroll] $475!
I have to by my college books (used) first and then my mom says I can keep what's left. It sucks. Initially, she said I could keep $100 and the rest was for college but hopefully I can get all my 1st semester books for like $300 (God I hope so!) and then I'll have some money.
I want to reinvent myself for college. My highschool self sucks muchley. I'm aware that at community college some people will know me but not everybody. I want to get new clothes before the fall and do something with my hair so I look different and then I can act accordingly. Or better yet, I'll act like myself but people will actually want to get to know me because of the way I look. It's crappy but that's the way the world is. I won't change the way I look, I'll just look the way I've always wanted to if I had money.
