06/13/2005: "Toronto Recap"

* Sorry that I didn't blog yesterday about Toronto and stuff. I was getting some much needed rest and spending time with Nick (of course).
* Toronto was fun-ish but sooo hot and I got a really bad sunburn. Also, the heat here in Western New York is unbearable. I'm in the library at school which is air conditioned (yay)! I've been working on my creative writing final all day. It's a script but we have to film it and that has been the hard part. I really haven't let Nick do too much with it because I'm controlling and psychotic so I'm letting him do the editing now by himself. I'm not sure he knows that I'm gone.
* Toronto was fun, what with the Medieval Times and stuff. Canada's Wonderland was sort of fun but it was soo hot and we were outside all day. The water park was supposed to be open but it wasn't and we didn't know that. So, 7 hours outside in the hot sun with no water park. There were two water rides open, however, so we went on those. There were huge lines (of course!). One was a log ride type of deal and the other was a rafting thing. I got sunburned and it hurts.
* Medieval Times was really great. The food was good (eating without silverware not as great) and the show was awesome. There was this one bitchy girl though that was kind of mean to me. She yelled at me when I was upset about getting separated from my friends. All her friends were with her and I was sitting alone and all my friends were on the other side but she yelled at me anyway. So I said something back and then started crying. I felt so stupid for crying and then I couldn't stop.
* I only have two more real days of school and then I have the battle of the classes on Wednesday and then I am done with high school...forever. It's a strange feeling. I'm sure you can all imagine (or already know) but it's also such a huge relief. Especially because all of this last few week/final stuff has been really stressful. I have to do my tentative schedule for community college. My private advisement session is on June 21. I'm soo excited about college. It's really wear I belong, I think. I love to learn but not about things I don't care about. So, to learn about things that I choose (mostly) is going to be fabulous.
* Oh! I forgot to tell. At Canada's Wonderland I got a henna tatoo. It says "Nick" and it's on the upper part of my...um...boob. I was wearing a pretty low-cut shirt there and had the lady do it above my shirt so it's not in an uber-innappropriate place. Nick got a kick out of it and my mom sort of freaked out so it's done its job.
* This is the longest blog entry that I've written in a while and now it comes to an end. Maxine is trying to fix my comments page so that my images and css show up. Until then, I'm sorry for the ugliness.
